Application for Programme Partnership Scheme closes July 2
*************************************************
Local performing art groups and artists are reminded to submit programme proposals to apply for funding and support under the "Programme Partnership Scheme" with proposed activities to be held at the Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre from December, 2004, to November, 2005.
The deadline for applications is 5pm, July 2, 2004.
The scheme was launched by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department at the New Territories venues in 2002-2003 and extended to urban venues in 2003-2004. Its success prompted the department to rerun the scheme in 2004-2005.
The scheme aims to establish a long-term relationship between the venue management and artists in order to enhance the image and identity of the venue and promote arts education and audience-building in the community. It also provides artists with the space and resources to create new works, and explore opportunities for the arts community to become involved in programming.
For details, please refer to the application forms which can be obtained by fax (2320 2684), by mail or in person from the Administration Office of the Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre, 2/F Ngau Chi Wan Municipal Services Building, 11 Clear Water Bay Road, Kowloon. They can also be downloaded from the website
