Change of artist for "Music Evergreen" concert

Erhu virtuosi Zhang Rui is unable to perform in the "Music Evergreen" concert on Sunday (April 25), and will be replaced by the gaohu virtuosi, Gan Shangshi.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department said the concert would go ahead as scheduled at 8 pm at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall.
The other three virtuosi to perform in the concert are Lu Chunling (dizi), Lin Shicheng (pipa) and Lin Maogen (zheng).
The concert will include classical works such as "Festive March" (dizi solo), "King Chu Doffs His Armour" (pipa solo), "Pining for the Secular World" (zheng solo), "The Peacock Displays its Beauty" (gaohu solo) and "The Toll of the Temple Bell" (yehu solo). Concert tickets priced at $160, $130 and $100 are now available at all URBTIX outlets. Half-price concessions will be granted to senior citizens, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients.

A pre-concert talk (in Putonghua) will be held at 3.30 pm on April 24 (Saturday) at AC2, Administration Building, Hong Kong Cultural Centre for the four virtuosi to share their experiences with participants. Admission is free with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
