Hong Kong Flower Show admission tickets on sale

Admission tickets to the 2004 Hong Kong Flower Show are on sale now until March 14 at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD)'s Leisure Link outlets.

The 2004 Hong Kong Flower Show, to be held at Victoria Park from 9am to 9pm from March 5 to 14, will feature the pansy as its theme flower.

The Leisure Link outlets are available at:

* District Leisure Services Offices;
* Sports Centres;
* Tennis Courts;
* Squash Courts;
* Lei Yue Mun Park; and
* Water Sports Centres.

Tickets will also be sold at the showground at Victoria Park throughout the show period.

This year's event will showcase exotic flowers, landscape and floral art displays presented by more than 180 participating organisations from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas. A total of over 300,000 flowers will be put on display.

To coincide with the show, a variety of competitions and activities will be held throughout the 10-day show period. They include the popular plant exhibit competitions, student drawing competitions and photo competitions; as well as horticultural talks and demonstrations, music and dance performances. The Happy Wonderland with fun games for children and their families will be available during weekends.
