Jim Gamble's wonderful world of puppets returns Feb 5-8
*******************************************************

Puppeteer Jim Gamble returns to Hong Kong next month with his show, "The Wonderful World of Puppets". Colourful marionettes will delight audiences as they dance, skate and juggle in the expert hands of Los Angeles-based Gamble.

LA Parent Magazine had this to say about the show recently: "... the puppets ooze personality ... youngsters will love it, while parents find it charming".

Gamble is an internationally known puppeteer and director of Jim Gamble Puppet Productions. He has been constructing puppets and performing for over 35 years. Having graduated with a first-class honours degree in aerospace engineering and a masters degree in systems management, he continued as a puppeteer throughout his 23-year career as an Air Force and as a commercial airline pilot, becoming known for his intricate marionette designs and upbeat style of showmanship. His company performs over a thousand shows annually. It has performed for World Puppet Festivals in the US, Mexico, Japan and Korea. The company has produced nine videos of its programmes for worldwide distribution and has received a number of awards.

Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the show will be staged as follows:
