Forged credit cards used to buy tickets through URBTIX
******************************************************

Seventy-nine tickets for the "Baleno Faye Wong Live in Hong Kong" concert to be held at the Hong Kong Coliseum from December 20 to 26 were purchased with forged credit cards through URBTIX computer ticketing system terminals.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department said today (December 11) that the matter was now under Police investigation.

The tickets in question have been declared void and holders of these tickets will not be admitted to the concert.

A spokesman for the department reminded the public not to buy concert tickets or URBTIX program tickets from suspicious origins, such as from strangers, other ticket-holders or through indirect sales channels on dubious websites.

The public can access URBTIX outlets through its 31 box offices in Hong Kong, or they can book through the hotline at 2734 9009 or 2111 5999 or purchase tickets on the URBTIX webpage at http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/urbtix .

Those who wish to check the validity of their concert tickets may call 2734 2870 during office hours.
