Air de Cour presents Baroque music on December 16
*******************************************

Air de Cour presents a concert of Baroque and Baroque-inspired music on December 16 at 8pm at the Theatre of the Hong Kong City Hall.

Harpsichordist Bonnie Choi, violinist Ting Fan and cellist Ray Wang will be joined by guest violinist Michael Ma.

The performance is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

On the programme are C.P.E. Bach's Trio Sonata in B-flat, H. 584, Biber's Sonata Violino Solo in A, Locklair's Cluster's Last Stand, Goebels' Bird-Boogie, Vivaldi's Trio Sonata in C Minor, RV 83, Gwilt's Ambulatory Suite for Violin, Cello and Harpsichord, and Handel's Trio Sonata in G Minor, Op. 2, No. 5.

Founded in 1994 by Bonnie Choi, Air de Cour specialises in the performance of Western music written before 1800 using replicas of instruments of that time. The group aims to make Baroque music and chamber concerts more accessible to the general public. Besides performing on a regular basis, Air de Cour has an outreach programme to foster interest in Baroque music among high school students.
