Countdown to decision on East Asian Games Bid

The East Asian Games Association will announce the host city of the 5th East Asian Games at the Macau Tower on Monday (November 3).
The Hong Kong Bid Committee, formed by Government officials and the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), is now making the final push towards its goal.
The Bid Committee will stage an exhibition at Harmony Room 2, 3/F, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Macau on Saturday and Sunday (November 1-2) to showcase Hong Kong's geographical and economical advantages and its extensive experience in holding international events.
The exhibition will open for the East Asian Games Family and the public from 2pm to 6pm on both days, and also from 8pm to 10pm on Sunday.
The Chairman of the Bid Committee, SF&OC President Hon Timothy Fok, and the Deputy Chairman, Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, Miss Anissa Wong, will present Hong Kong's case before the East Asian Games Association at the hotel on Sunday.
The association will vote on the matter on Monday and announce its decision at the Macau Tower at 10.30am.
The Hong Kong public have given full support to the Hong Kong's bid for the Games. A total of 287,000 signatures were collected from the public in a signature campaign in October in support of the bid.
