Public reminded to keep venues clean on fireworks display nights

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) reminds the public that the Hong Kong International Musical Fireworks Competition will be held this Sunday (October 5) and on October 12 (Sunday) over the Victoria Harbour at 8pm. Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the two teams: Hong Kong and Italy will compete on October 5 while Japan and the United States will take their turn at the same time on October 12. The duration of each night's display is about 21 minutes.

Members of the public are reminded to keep order and keep places clean. When leaving, please take away your belongings and don't leave trash or newspapers behind. Offenders will be subject to a fixed penalty of $1500.
