LCSD reminds the public to keep places clean and tidy

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) today (September 13) reminds members of the public not to litter and burn wax over the weekend and the Department will continue to take enforcement action against offenders.

A spokesman for the LCSD said that during the last three days, 13 persons had been prosecuted and over 8 500 verbal warnings had been given for wax burning at the Department's venues.

Eight fixed penalty tickets of $1,500 had been issued to littering offenders during the past three days.
