LCSD received 85 requests on fallen trees


Since the issuing of typhoon signal No.8 at 2.20 pm yesterday (September 2) until its cancellation at 1.30 am today, the Regional Tree and Landscape Sections of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department have recorded a total of 85 requests for emergency assistance concerning fallen trees and trunks on roadsides pulled down or damaged by strong wind, of which 23 requests were made on Hong Kong region, 10 requests in Kowloon region and 52 requests in the New Territories region.
