Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

Due to large waves, red flags have today (September 2) been hoisted at Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung; Stanley Main Beach, Turtle Cove Beach, Hairpin Beach, St. Stephen's Beach, Middle Bay Beach, South Bay Beach, Repulse Bay Beach, Deep Water Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island. It is dangerous to enter the water at these beaches.
