Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

Due to large waves, red flags have today (September 2) been hoisted at Clear Water Bay 1st Beach and Clear Water Bay 2nd Beach in Sai Kung; Kwun Yam Beach, Pui O Beach, Tong Fuk Beach, Lo So Shing Beach, Silver Mine Bay Beach, Upper Cheung Sha Beach, Lower Cheung Sha Beach, Hung Shing Yeh Beach and Cheung Chau Tung Wan Beach in Islands District; Shek O Beach and Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island. It is dangerous to enter the water at these beaches.
