Deadline for public views on study of museums extended to October 15

Members of the public are invited to express their views on the Study Report on the mode of governance of public museums and the Hong Kong Film Archive on or before October 15.
A summary of public views will be submitted to the Government for consideration.
The study was commissioned by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) with a view to keeping the services of the museums and the film archive up to date with contemporary practice. It was undertaken by LORD Cultural Resources Planning and Management Inc. and Deloitte and Touche Management Solutions Limited.
The 12 museums operated by LCSD are Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Science Museum, Hong Kong Space Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum, Law Uk Folk Museum, Sheung Yiu Folk Museum, Hong Kong Railway Museum and Sam Tung Uk Museum.
