Clear Water Bay First Beach re-opened

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (July 29) that the Clear Water Bay First Beach had been re-opened at 12.30 pm with lifeguard service operating from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays and from 8 am to 7 pm on weekends and public holidays.

The re-opening followed the advice of the Environment Protection Department that the beach is now suitable for swimming.

The Clear Water Bay First Beach was closed temporarily on July 28, 2003 in view of the sighting of a minor oil spillage.
