Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

Due to large waves, red flags have today (June 11) been hoisted at Clear Water Bay First Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung; Shek O Beach, Big Wave Bay Beach, Stanley Main Beach, Turtle Cove Beach, Hairpin Beach, St. Stephen's Beach, Middle Bay Beach, South Bay Beach, Repulse Bay Beach, Deep Water Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island; Pui O Beach, Lower Cheung Sha Beach, Tong Fuk Beach, Hung Shing Yeh Beach and Lo So Shing Beach in Islands District. It is dangerous to enter the water at these beaches.
