Half-year membership for Friends of HK Cultural Centre

The Friends of Hong Kong Cultural Centre scheme, which promotes appreciation of the arts, is now inviting half-year membership covering the period from July 1 to December 31, 2003.

By paying only half of the annual fee, members can enjoy a full package of benefits including 10% ticket discounts on selected programmes; special discounts on purchase of CDs, gifts, souvenirs, musical instruments and scores. Other benefits include discounts on attending art and cultural courses, subscribing to magazines, studio hire and special offers from hotels and restaurants.

Members will also be invited to dress rehearsals, lecture demonstrations, art institute visits and they will receive a free guided tour of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre (HKCC).

They will be kept informed of the latest arts programmes through a monthly newsletter and monthly event calendar.

Those who enrol now will get a HKCC thermal mug while stock lasts.

Half-year membership fees for the Friends of HKCC are $75 for individual members, $110 for joint members (two people) and $35 for senior citizens (aged 60 or above), people with disabilities and full-time students.

Enrolment forms are available at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's performing venues and all URBTIX outlets. They can also be downloaded from the website www.hkculturalcentre.gov.hk
