Public swimming pools to stay closed temporarily

As a precautionary measure against atypical pneumonia, all public swimming pools managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department would remain closed until further notice, a spokesman for the department announced today (April 6).

He said: "All the swimming pools have been thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. We will watch the developments closely and hope to reopen the pools soon."

The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
