The Hong Kong Central Library (HKCL) will resume its services tomorrow (March 28) after having completed thorough cleansing and disinfection measures for the whole library building today in accordance with guidelines issued by the Department of Health, a spokesman of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department said.

Due to an interim arrangement of staff duties, the Toy Library will remain closed until further notice.

The Library will step up its cleansing and display more notices at all public areas to request readers with upper respiratory infection symptoms to wear face masks inside the libraries or to refrain from using library facilities.

For enquiries, member of the public can contact the Department of Health's hotline on 2921 8968 or the HKCL on 3150 1234.
