Sale of Donated Books on Saturday and Sunday

The "Sale of Donated Books", which was very well-received by the public last year, will be held on Saturday and Sunday (February 15 and 16) this year from 10 am to 6 pm at the Hong Kong Central Library Exhibition Gallery and the Sha Tin Town Hall Exhibition Gallery. Over 200,000 books, including adult and children books, will be sold at $ 5 each for contribution to the Community Chest of Hong Kong. To be environmentally friendly, the public is encouraged to bring along their own bags to carry the books.

As part of the activities to promote reading, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Home Affairs Department, 18 District Councils, the Community Chest of Hong Kong, the Hongkong Post and the Agency for Volunteer Service have jointly organized the Book Donation & Sale Campaign to encourage the public to donate their books for sale.
