Hong Kong Sinfonietta to share memorable Great Movie Sounds

"Schindler's List", "Amadeus", "Goldfinger" (James Bond), "Star Wars", "Titanic", "Harry Potter"...... are all great movies. Music is undoubtedly an essential element to enliven these movies.

The Hong Kong Sinfonietta will play live great movie music in the coming performance "Sounds Great!" to be held in March. From "Schindler's List" to "Harry Potter", the Orchestra will bring you back to all those big scenes of the great movies!

The Orchestra will be joined by RTHK Radio 4 DJ Raymond Chung and British conductor Anthony Inglis, whose versatility has taken him beyond the standard orchestra repertoire. Having been the Music Supervisor for "Phantom of the Opera" in London for fourteen years, Inglis is equally an expert when it comes to conducting music for films. Raymond Chung will introduce the music to the audience in Cantonese.

Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, "Sounds Great!" by Hong Kong Sinfonietta will be staged at 8pm on March 1 (Saturday) at the Auditorium, Tsuen Wan Town Hall and 3pm on March 2 (Sunday) at the Auditorium, Yuen Long Theatre.
