Opening hours of LCSD cultural venues during Chinese New Year

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (January 28) the opening hours of its cultural venues during Chinese New Year as follows:

For January 31 (Chinese New Year's Eve)

Sha Tin Town Hall, Yuen Long Theatre and Hong Kong Coliseum will be open as usual while other venues including Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, Ko Shan Theatre, Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre, Sheung Wan Civic Centre, Kwai Tsing Theatre, Tsuen Wan Town Hall, Tuen Mun Town Hall, Tai Po Civic Centre, North District Town Hall and Queen Elizabeth Stadium, as well as the URBTIX outlets of these venues will be closed at 5 pm.

For February 1 (1st day of Chinese New Year)

Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, Sha Tin Town Hall and Hong Kong Coliseum will be open as usual. Tsuen Wan Town Hall will be open from 2 pm to 11 pm while its URBTIX outlet will provide service from 2 pm to 9.30 pm. Yuen Long Theatre will be open from 5 pm to 10 pm while its URBTIX outlet will provide service from 5 pm to 9.30 pm. Other venues will be closed.

For February 2 and 3 (2nd and 3rd day of Chinese New Year)

All venues will resume normal opening hours, except Ko Shan Theatre, Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre and Sheung Wan Civic Centre.

For February 4 (4th day of Chinese New Year)

All venues will resume normal opening hours.
