Exhibition on plant propagation methods

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will organise a free-of-charge horticultural education exhibition on methods of plant propagation from 10am to 4pm on January 19 (Sunday) at the Arcade of Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui.

The Exhibition aims at arousing public interest in plant propagation and to enhance public awareness of greening and conservation of nature in Hong Kong.

The Exhibition, through panel display, will introduce to visitors various methods of plant propagation including seed sowing, cutting, layering, grafting, division and tissue culture. With the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the Exhibition, visitors may enjoy the pleasure of planting at home.

In addition to panel display, interesting fringe activities such as quiz games, pot planting activities for kids, recycled paper making and demonstration on plant propagation will be organised at the Exhibition.

The Exhibition will definitely be an enjoyable and educational pastime for the whole family.
