Attention TV/Radio Announcers:

Please announce the following as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (December 4) that as at 8pm, over 48,500 free admission tickets, i.e. about 75 per cent of the total to be distributed to the public, for the exhibition on China’s First Spacewalk Mission have been distributed. Meanwhile tickets for the first day of the exhibition (December 6, Saturday) have all been given out.

A spokesman for LCSD reminded those who wish to get the admission tickets should get them earlier particularly for this Sunday (December 7) and the following weekend of December 13 and 14 as limited tickets are left.

He said, “The remaining tickets for the exhibition are now available on a first-come-first-served basis at the Hong Kong Science’s box office while stock lasts. The box office of the museum is specially open daily from 9am to 9pm until December 14.

"Visitors of the exhibition, upon presentation of a ticket, will receive a special display pamphlet and a sticker.  The pamphlet contains detailed explanation on highlight exhibits and is illustrated with rare photographs taken during the spacewalk mission," the spokesman said.

The exhibition on China’s First Spacewalk Mission will be held at the Hong Kong Science Museum from December 6 to December 15. For enquiries, please call 1823. For details of the exhibition, please visit http://hk.science.museum.
