Free outdoor concert "Beyond The Realms of Rock" at Sha Tin

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present a free outdoor concert "Beyond The Realms of Rock" this weekend (October 25 and 26) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Sha Tin Town Hall Plaza.

     Blending digital audio and video with music, the concerts are performed by new media artists and crossover music-makers from Hong Kong and Taiwan, including Llunc, OpenEye, a Kai, Hon Him, Po and Lala, SIU2, S.T., The Demos and Four Gig Heads.

     Curator/moderator/producer of the programme Mr Wong Chi-chung said, "What is Post-Post-Rock? It is a sublimation of an art form where the guitar is replaced by digital audio and video, when screaming turns into deep introspection. It is a paean to life and a dialogue with the world."

     Details of the concerts are as follows:
     1. Date: October 25 (Saturday)
        Time: 5.30pm to 7.30pm
        Performers: Four Gig Heads, Hon Him, S.T.,
        The Demos, Po and Lala, SIU2, a Kai

     2. Date: October 26 (Sunday)
        Time: 5.30pm to 7.30pm
        Performers: Four Gig Heads, Po and Lala,
        The Demos, Llunc, OpenEye, a Kai, SIU2
