Public library opening hours for Easter and Ching Ming Festival
嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (March 18) that all public libraries will be closed on Good Friday (March 29), though Students' Study Rooms will remain open from 8am to 9.30pm.

     The opening hours of public libraries on the day following Good Friday (March 30), Easter Monday (April 1) and the Ching Ming Festival (April 4) will be the same as for other public holidays.

     For system maintenance, the following library services will be suspended as scheduled below:
1. The Multimedia Information System service: from 9pm on March 28 until 8am on March 30.
2. Online and telephone services: 12am to 12.59pm on March 29. The affected services include: library catalogue via the Internet (web and mobile versions), borrower record enquiry and reservation of library materials via the Internet, web access to electronic resources (including e-books and online databases) and the Internet/telephone renewal service.
