Cantonese opera virtuosi to perform in April and May

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department has invited Cantonese opera virtuosi to give three concerts in April and May. There will be a different programme for each performance, with songs including "The Hatless Gathering" (Part II), "Merciless Sword Under Merciful Heaven", "Three Glimpses of the Princess", "The Tragedy of Princess Lok Cheung", "The Warrior's Marriage" (Part I), "Shen Sanbai and Yunniang" (Part II).

     Details of the concerts are as follows:
Date: April 20 (Saturday)
Venue: Auditorium, Tsuen Wan Town Hall
Performers: Ng Chin-fung, Ng Mei-ying, Nam Fung, Sun Kim-long, Tang Mi-ling, Lung Koon-tin

Date: May 16 (Thursday)
Venue: Theatre, Ko Shan Theatre
Performers: Wong Chiu-kwan, Ng Chin-fung, Ng Mei-ying, Lee Lung, Nam Fung, Liao Zhaoming

Date: May 25 (Saturday)
Venue: Auditorium, Tuen Mun Town Hall
Performers: Wong Chiu-kwan, Lee Lung, Nam Fung, Liao Zhaoming, Tang Mi-ling, Lung Koon-tin

     All performances start at 7.30pm. Tickets ranging from $100 to $260 are now available at all URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by telephone credit card booking. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for full-time students and CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis.)
