Adjustment of handling charge for URBTIX Internet and credit card telephone bookings

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (November 26) that Cityline (Hong Kong) Limited (Cityline), the service provider of URBTIX Internet and credit card telephone booking services, will adjust its handling charge for Internet and telephone bookings with effect from November 30.

The handling charge will be adjusted from $6.50 to $7 per ticket and up to a maximum of $23 per order. There is no service charge for tickets purchased at URBTIX outlets located in Hong Kong.

Cityline has been providing URBTIX Internet and credit card telephone booking services since 2006. A handling charge is charged in relation to its call centre and Internet operational costs and has not been altered throughout these years. Due to inflation and increasing operational costs the handling charge has now been adjusted to help maintain the company's Internet and credit card telephone booking services.

For details of URBTIX Internet and telephone booking services, please refer to Terms and Conditions in website or call the Cityline customer service hotline 2314 4228.
