New Territories West community carnival "Go Dream! Youth Gala" to be held in Yuen Long tomorrow

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will hold the New Territories West community thematic carnival "Go Dream! Youth Gala" at Yuen Long Theatre Avenue and Foyer tomorrow (July 14) from 6pm to 9pm, featuring a variety of performances and entertainment by promising young artists and members from 12 youth centres in the New Territories West. Admission to all programmes is free.

Carnival highlights include live pop music by the group Supper Moment, piano performances by artists Lee Hin and Lee Shing of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, Chinese percussion by Refiner Drums, and energetic group performances by various youth groups from the New Territories West.

The Carnival also includes a magic performance by magician Avon Lee, and a clown show by award-winning master Kenneth Ng. Other interesting performances include rope skipping, harmonica, dances, lion dance and Cantonese opera demonstrations.

Two giant puppets featuring the sun and the moon will also parade through the venue, adding colour to the Carnival. Carnival-goers can also enjoy the fun of handicrafts workshops including glass etching, shoe painting and badge making.
