Temporary closure of some LCSD leisure facilities

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (May 23) that due to maintenance or turf maintenance works, the following leisure facilities will be temporarily closed:

     The arena and booking counter at Wong Chuk Hang Sports Centre in Southern District will be temporarily closed for maintenance from June 18 to 29. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open. During the period, the public may use similar facilities at Aberdeen Sports Centre, Ap Lei Chau Sports Centre, Yue Kwong Road Sports Centre and Stanley Sports Centre in the same district.

     The arena at Tin Shui Sports Centre in Yuen Long District will be temporarily closed for maintenance from June 18 to July 15. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open. During the period, the public may use similar facilities at Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Sports Centre, Tin Shui Wai Sports Centre, Fung Kam Street Sports Centre and Long Ping Sports Centre in the same district.

     The grass soccer pitch at Tsuen Wan Riviera Park will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from June 18 to July 28. During the period, the public may use the grass soccer pitch at the nearby Shing Mun Valley Sports Ground.

     The grass soccer pitch at Yuen Long Stadium will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from July 5 to August 15. During this period, the public may use the grass soccer pitch at the nearby Tin Shui Wai Sports Ground.
