To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, the Tuen Mun Town Hall (TMTH) will hold the Tuen Mun Town Hall 25th Anniversary Fun Day on Sunday (May 20) from 2pm to 5.30pm, with a variety of delightful, free-of-charge family entertainment programmes and game stalls for visitors.
Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, various performances will be held at the Tuen Mun Town Hall Auditorium, including a Chinese and Western percussion concert by the group Four Gig Heads and a choral and orchestral performance by the Tuen Mun Children Choir. A handicraft DIY workshop in the Lecture Room will also be held for families. Additionally, an exhibition featuring entries for the "Colouring Works Sharing" by kindergartens in Tuen Mun district will be held in the Exhibition Gallery from 3pm on May 20 to May 24. Admission is free and all are welcome.
Not to be missed are outdoor family activities such as interactive play zones, arts and crafts and games stalls in TMTH Cultural Square. Visitors will be able to enjoy an acrobatic and roving performance as well as participate in "Call for Creative 25" to share their creative ideas about "25". In the outdoor performance zone, there will be a Chinese drum performance, a band and break dancing, juggling and magic shows and an Asian ethnic cultural dance performance by minority groups. The venue partner, Hong Kong Young Talent Cantonese Opera Troupe Company Ltd, will also perform an excerpt of Cantonese opera.
