Temporary suspension of Mobile Library 8 and 9 services

     The services provided by Mobile Libraries 8 and 9 will be suspended during designated periods from now until May for urgent repair, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (April 5).

     From now until mid-May, the following service points of Mobile Library 9 are affected: Kai Yip Estate in Kowloon Bay, Tsui Ping (South) Estate in Kwun Tong, Tin Wan Estate in Aberdeen, Oi Tung Estate in Aldrich Bay, Tai Hong Street in Lei King Wan and Heng Fa Chuen in Chai Wan. For enquiries about Mobile Library 9 services, please call 2505 4690.

     From April 10 to May 5, the following service points of Mobile Library 8 will be affected: Laguna City in Lam Tin, Po Tat Estate and Hiu Lai Court in Sau Mau Ping, Tai Hang Tung Estate in Tai Hang Tung Road, Laguna Verde in Hung Hom and Fu Cheong Estate in Sham Shui Po. To enquire about Mobile Library 8 services, please call 2926 3055.

     People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk/english/catalogues/catalogues_rbr/catalogues_rbr.html.
