Activities at St. Stephen's Beach Water Sports Centre suspended

Attention TV/radio announcers:

Please broadcast the following as soon as possible:

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (December 18) that because of suspected bomb reports at the sea bed off the St. Stephen's Bay, today's activities at the St. Stephen's Beach Water Sports Centre have been suspended.

     Meanwhile, red flag has been hoisted at the St. Stephen's Beach. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beach. During the winter (November 2011 to March 2012), lifeguard services at the beach are suspended.
