Temporary closure of some of LCSD leisure facilities

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 28) that the cycling ground at Kowloon Bay Park will be temporarily closed for renovation works from November 1 to December 16.

     Due to refurbishment works, the table tennis rooms at Tuen Mun Swimming Pool Squash Courts will be temporarily closed from November 21 to December 3, while the multi-purpose activity rooms will be temporarily closed from December 5 to 17. During these periods, the public may use similar facilities at Yau Oi Sports Centre in the same district.

     Additionally, the turf pitch at Tin Shui Wai Sports Ground will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from December 12, 2011 to January 1, 2012. The running track will remain open during the period. The public may use the turf pitch at the nearby Yuen Long Stadium.
