Workshop re-runs to share the secrets of shadow puppetry
****************************

In August, the workshop "The World Behind the Shadow" by Fantasy Puppet Theatre was successfully held. The workshop is going to be re-run in October to share the secrets of shadow puppetry. This is a not-to-be-missed event for families.

Tailor-made for kids aged 3 or above and their parents, the activities in this workshop include demonstrating both traditional and modern shadow puppetry, learning the techniques to control the puppets, a question-and-answer session and photo taking. This workshop offers an excellent opportunity for children and parents to enjoy shadow puppetry together.

Established in 2005, Fantasy Puppet Theatre is one of a handful of Hong Kong puppet theatre companies and works with a wide range of techniques to produce original puppet shows for children, youngsters and their parents.

The workshop "The World Behind the Shadow" by Fantasy Puppet Theatre (conducted in Cantonese) is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It will be held at 3pm on October 22 and 23 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Auditorium, North District Town Hall. Tickets priced at $40 are now available at all URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by telephone credit card booking. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients available on a first-come, first-served basis).

For programme enquiries, call 2268 7323 (LCSD) or 3520 3172 (Fantasy Puppet Theatre); for ticketing enquiries, call 2734 9009. For credit card telephone bookings, call 2111 5999.
