Red flags hoisted at Pui O Beach and Butterfly Beach

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 11) that the Environmental Protection Department has classified the water quality at Pui O Beach in Islands District and Butterfly Beach in Tuen Mun District as Grade 4, which means the beaches are not suitable for swimming. Red flags have been hoisted. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the two beaches until further notice.
