Yeung Ming Cantonese Opera Troupe to perform three fascinating shows

     Highly active in the local Cantonese opera circle, the Yeung Ming Cantonese Opera Troupe is set to perform three captivating works in April and May.

     The performances will start at 7.30pm. Performers in the shows include Lau Wai-ming, Wan Fai-yin, Man Po-sum, Yam Bing-yee, Lui Hung-kwong and Sung Hung-bo. Details are as follows:

April 29 (Friday)
Auditorium, Yuen Long Theatre
"The Recovery of the Golden Hairpin"
Tickets: $100, $160 and $240

May 1 (Sunday)
Theatre, Ko Shan Theatre
"Farewell at the Cavern"
$100, $160, $220 and $280

May 7 (Saturday)
Auditorium, Tai Po Civic Centre
"The Petition of Guizhi"
Tickets: $100, $160 and $220

     These performances by the Yeung Ming Cantonese Opera Troupe are presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Tickets are now available at URBTIX outlets, on the internet and by credit card telephone booking. Senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients may receive a 50% discount (limited tickets for students and CSSA recipients on a first-come, first-served basis). A free admission meet-the-artist session (conducted in Cantonese) will be held at 4pm on April 29, at the VIP Lounge, Yuen Long Theatre. Seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
