Big Wave Bay Beach reopened

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 9) that the shark prevention net at Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District was repaired today and the beach was reopened.

     Meanwhile, Pui O Beach, Lower Cheung Sha Beach and Hung Shing Yeh Beach in Islands District remain closed for shark prevention net maintenance.

     The beaches were temporarily closed on August 7 for the shark prevention net maintenance work.
