To mark the opening of the event there is a marching parade involving more than 300 people, including secondary students and young dancers. The parade is followed by an opening show directed by renowned choreographers Daniel Yeung and Ong Yong-lock with 150 dancers. Led by young choreographers, Cyrus Hui, Chloe Wong and Max Lee of Biuguk, the young dancers give a live performance around the four corners of the plaza.

Members of public are welcome to register and join in the dance performances, including the “U Can Dance!” free dancing zone. Other attractions include dance workshops and game stalls.
