Clown juggling, a magic show, folk dancing, nostalgic Christmas songs, roving performances and Christmas tree decorations are just some of the highlights at the Tuen Mun Town Hall 2010 Christmas Fun Day, to be held from 2pm to 5.30pm on December 18 (Saturday) at Tuen Mun Town Hall.
The Fun Day, presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department free of charge, brings a variety of delightful family entertainment programmes for visitors to share the joy of Christmas.
The Fun Day will kick off with an opening ceremony at 2pm at the Tuen Mun Town Hall Foyer Stage. This will be followed by a series of performances including children's theatre by PIP Theatre, funny clown juggling and a magic show by the Funmen Production Company, and a folk dance performance by the Crystal Western Folk Dance Troupe. The town hall's venue partner, Spring-Time Chinese Opera and Hon Fung Creative Chinese Opera, has invited Miss Camy Tang to perform various wonderful, nostalgic songs.
At the Auditorium there will also be choir and Chinese orchestral performances featuring Christmas songs by the Tuen Mun Children Choir and the Hong Kong Juvenile and Youth Chinese Classical Orchestra, while at the Podium there will be arts, crafts and game stalls from the Treasury Company, and roving performances by the Funmen Production Company.
Not to be missed are family activities such as arts and crafts stalls, a photo-taking corner and Christmas tree decorations at the Exhibition Gallery. The film "Mcdull．Kung Fu Ding Ding Dong", in Cantonese with Chinese subtitles, will be shown at the Lecture Room at 2.30pm and 4.15pm for animation lovers.
