Relax with enchanting music from "La Boheme" this Wednesday at IFC
嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗嚗

     Before the formal performance of "Opera: La Boheme" next week at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, a performance of excerpts will be held from 1pm to 2pm on Wednesday, September 29, at Oval Atrium, IFC Mall. Admission is free.

     Some of the leading artists in the opera will perform with piano accompaniment by Nina Yip. The repertoire is as follows :
1. "Che gelida manina" (What a cold little hand) sung by Jesus García as Rodolfo
2. "Sì, mi chiamano Mim" (Yes, they call me Mimì) sung by Yuki Yip as Mimì
3. "Musetta's waltz: Quando me'n vo'" (When I go along) sung by Margaret Yim as Musetta
4. Duet: "O Mimì, tu più non torni" (O Mimì, will you not return?) sung by Jesus García as Rodolfo and Joseph Chi Song as Marcello
5. "Vecchia zimarra" (Listen, old coat) sung by Freddie Tong as Colline
6. Duet: "Mimì, Speravo di trovarvi qui" (Mimi! I hoped to find you here) sung by Yuki Ip as Mimì and Joseph Chi Song as Marcello
7. Quartet from Act III sung by Yuki Ip as Mimì, Margaret Yim as Musetta, Jesus García as Rodolfo and Joseph Chi Song as Marcello

     Puccini's "La Bohème", a masterpiece of enchanting arias and ensembles, will be staged on October 6 – 10 at the Grand Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Opera Hong Kong. Tickets priced from $120 to $920 are now available at URBTIX outlets, on Internet and by credit card telephone booking.
