LCSD continues detailed tree inspection in the vicinity of Yuen Chau Kok Park

     Members from the tree team of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) today (June 16) continued their detailed inspection of trees in the vicinity of the Yuen Chau Kok Park in Sha Tin.

     About 30 members from the LCSD tree team took part in today's inspection work at the above site. A total of 160 trees were examined. No trees were removed during the operation today.

     There are some 400 trees in the vicinity of the Yuen Chau Kok Park. The LCSD tree team had inspected a total of 310 trees in the operations held today and yesterday. They will continue their work tomorrow to complete detailed inspection of all the trees at the site according to schedule in order to ensure public safety.
