"City Art Square" opens
ĄŻĄŻĄŻĄŻĄŻĄŻĄŻĄŻĄŻĄŻĄŻ

    The “City Art Square”, a joint project of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Sun Hung Kai Properties Charitable Fund, opened today (July 22).

    With an area of 190,000 square feet, the square at the Sha Tin Town Hall Plaza features 19 uniquely styled creative sculptures and public art installations by renowned international and local artists including Vivienne Tam, Zaha Hadid, Dennis Oppenheim, Mimmo Paladino, WOKmedia, Tom Thiel, Nina Jobs, Joaquin Gasgonia Palencia, Mathias Bengtsson, Xu Bing, Zhang Yu, Barrie Ho, Freeman Lau, James Law, Danny Lee, Sara Tse, Mok Yat-san and Man Fung-yi.

    The project brings an artistic and cultural ambience to the public space, inspiring public interest in and appreciation of the arts and promoting the Beijing Olympic Games.
