The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (November 23) that since the waters off Repulse Bay Beach, Middle Bay Beach, South Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island, are now suitable for swimming, the red flags have been lowered.
The red flags were hoisted at the four beaches after red tides were found.
The department reminds the public that the lifeguard services at South Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Beach are suspended in winter.
