Island East Sports Centre

Introduction

Two indoor sports climbing facilities are provided on the fourth floor of Island East Sports Centre at 52 Lei King Road, Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong. The climbing facilities, each with a height of 6.5 metres and a width of 2 metres, provide an ideal training ground for sports climbing enthusiasts.

  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan


Opening Hours

7 am to 11 pm daily
(except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

7 am to 1 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)


Hire Charges

(Per lane)

(a) At or after 6 p.m. every Monday to Friday

(b) At or after 1 p.m. on Saturdays

(c) Any time on Sundays & Public Holidays

Normal rate:
$30 per hour

Concessionary rate*:
$15 per hour

(d) Before 6 p.m. every Monday to Friday
(except public holidays)

(e) Before 1 p.m. on Saturdays (except public holidays)

Normal rate:
$24 per hour

Concessionary rate*:
$12 per hour

* Persons with disabilities and their accompanying minders (each person can enjoy the concessionary rate with one minder only) can enjoy the concessionary rate at any time. Concessionary rate is applicable to full-time students and senior citizens aged 60 or above who use the facilities before 6 p.m. between Monday and Friday or before 1 p.m. on Saturdays (except public holidays).
