Cheung Chau Sports Centre
Introduction
Cheung Chau Sports Centre is located at No. 3 Cheung Chau Hospital Road, which is adjacent to Cheung Chau Hospital. The Sports Centre was opened on 10 January 1993. A wide variety of sports facilities are available to be booked by individuals or groups during opening hours. Besides, recreation and sports programs are organized each month for public participation.

1 multi-purpose arena which can be used as 1 basketball / volleyball court, 4 badminton courts or 2 gateball courts. Two spectator stands, a 160-seater and a 116-seater, are provided on G/F and 1/F of the arena respectively.
- 1 multi-purpose activity room with 100M2 (Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
- 1 fitness room of 104 M2
- 1 children's play room (The Children's Play Room is mainly designed for the use by children aged from 4 to 9 whose heights are not exceeding 142cm. Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians inside the play room)
- The main arena and activity room are designated for booking with 60% for sports use and 40% for community use
- Men’s and ladies’ changing rooms and toilets
- Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan

Mui Wo Sports Centre
Introduction
Mui Wo Sports Centre is located at Mui Wo Municipal Services Building, 9 Ngan Shek Street, Lantau Island. The Sports Centre was opened in August 1993. A wide variety of sports facilities are available to be booked by individuals or groups during opening hours. Besides, there is a temporary study area which opens all-year-round.

- A multi-purpose arena which can be used as a basketball court / volleyball court, four badminton courts or two gateball courts
- 1 multi-purpose activity room with 115M2. (Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
- 1 fitness room of 114 M2
- 2 squash courts covering an area of 62 M2 each are provided. They can be converted into table tennis rooms or multi-purpose activity rooms. (Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
- A temporary study area which can accommodate 16 persons
- Men’s and ladies’ changing rooms and toilets

How to Access
‧ To take ferry from Central Piers Terminal (Pier 6) to Mui Wo and walk for about 10 minutes from Mui Wo Ferry Pier towards Silvermine Bay
‧ To take the 3M New Lantao Bus from Tung Chung MTR station. Bus-stop at the Municipal Services Building was available for some designated bus schedule via the Market. For other schedules, get off at the terminal (Mui Wo Ferry Pier) and walk towards Silvermine Bay for about 10 minutes

Praya Street Sports Centre is located at 1st and 2nd floors of the Cheung Chau Municipal Services Building, 2 Tai Hing Tai Road, Cheung Chau. The Sports Centre was opened on 1st July 1991. A wide variety of sports facilities are available to be booked by individuals or groups during opening hours. Besides, recreation and sports programs are organized each month for public participation.

- 2 multi-purpose activity rooms with less than 100 M2 (Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats; one of multi-purpose activity room has wall mirrors and dance bars)
- 2 squash courts covering an area of 62 M2 each are provided. They can be converted into table tennis rooms or multi-purpose activity rooms. (Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats). A 40-seater spectator stand is provided on 2/F.
