Harbour Road Sports Centre

Introduction

The Harbour Road Sports Centre is located at 27 Harbour Road, Wan Chai and opened to the public in May 2017. The Sports Centre provides a wide range of leisure facilities for booking by members of the public and organisations during the opening hours. Moreover, the Sports Centre also organises various kinds of sports and recreation programmes each month for public participation.

Facilities

  • 1 multi-purpose arena that can be used as 8 badminton courts / 2 basketball courts / 2 volleyball courts / 2 netball courts
  • 2 dance rooms (covering the areas of 104 m2 and 88 m2 respectively) (Ancillary facilities: wall mirrors, dance bars and sound equipment.)
  • 1 table tennis room with 7 table tennis tables
  • 5 squash courts (with court nos.1 to 3 set aside as squash courts-cum-activity rooms) (Squash courts-cum-activity rooms ancillary facilities: sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • 1 fitness room (covering an area of 254 m2)
  • Men’s and ladies’ toilets and changing rooms
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan
  • Babycare room


Opening Hours

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

8am to 2pm on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)

Lockhart Road Sports Centre

Introduction

Lockhart Road Sports Centre is located at 10 – 12/F, Lockhart Road Municipal Services Building, 225 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai. It was opened for use on 6 December 1986. Members of the public are welcome to book the facilities for sports and to participate in the recreational activities organized in the sports centre.

  • 2 fitness rooms (covering the areas of 75 m2 and 50 m2 respectively)
  • 1 table tennis room with 6 table tennis tables
  • 2 squash courts-cum-activity rooms (Ancillary facilities: sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • Men’s and ladies’ toilets and changing rooms
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan

Wong Nai Chung Sports Centre

Introduction

Wong Nai Chung Sports Centre is located at 4/F – 6/F, 2 Yuk Sau Street, Happy Valley. It was opened for use in June 1996. Members of the public are welcome to book the facilities provided for sports and to participate in the recreational activities organized in the sports centre.

  • 1 multi-purpose arena that can be used as 3 badminton courts / 1 basketball court* / 1 volleyball court (*sub-standard 5-a-side basketball court)
  • 1 activity room (covering an area of 124 m2 and can accommodate 2 table tennis tables)(Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars and sound equipment.)
  • 2 squash courts-cum-activity rooms / can be used for providing table tennis tables (Ancillary facilities: sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • 2 children’s playrooms (covering the areas of 71 m2 and 63 m2 respectively)
  • Men’s and ladies’ toilets and changing rooms
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan
