Kwun Chung Sports Centre

Introduction

Kwun Chung Sports Centre, which was commissioned on 2 January 1991, is located on 5/F to 7/F of the Kwun Chung Municipal Services Building, 17 Bowring Street, Jordan, Kowloon. Covering an area of 5 530 square meters, it provides the local residents with a wide range of leisure facilities and offers an ideal venue for leisure activities. Moreover, the Sports Centre also organises various sports and recreation programmes each month for the public's participation.

Facilities

A multi-purpose arena covering an area of 1 398 M² is provided. It can be converted into 2 basketball courts/volleyball courts or 8 badminton courts.
A dance room covering an area of 100.5 M² is provided. A variety of activities such as yoga and judo can be held.(Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars and sound equipment.)
A fitness room covering an area of 240 M² is provided.
8 squash courts are provided. 3 courts are provided with table tennis tables and 3 courts can be converted into multi-purpose activity rooms.(Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
An activity room covering an area of 151 M² is provided.(Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
An activity room covering an area of 135 M² is provided. There are 4 table tennis tables for booking by the public.

Opening Hours

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)
(Multi-purpose arena and dance room are temporarily closed until further notice)

Maintenance Day

9am to 3pm on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)
