Fa Yuen Street Sports Centre

Introduction

Fa Yuen Street Sports Centre, which was commissioned on 3 January 1989, is located at 10/F to13/F of the Fa Yuen Street Municipal Services Building, 123A Fa Yuen Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon. Covering an area of 4 240 square meters, it provides the local residents with a wide range of leisure facilities and offer an ideal venue for leisure activities. Moreover, the Sports Centre also organises various sports and recreation programmes each month for the public's participation.

Facilities

  • A multi-purpose arena covering an area of 623 M2 is provided. It can be converted into 1 basketball court/ volleyball court/ netball court or 3 badminton courts.
  • A dance room covering an area of 175 M2 is provided. A variety of activities such as yoga and judo can be held.(Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars and sound equipment.)
  • 2 multi-purpose activity rooms with an area of 161 M2 and 215 M2 respectively are provided.(Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • A fitness room covering an area of 170 M2 is provided. It offers various kinds of fitness equipment.
  • 4 squash courts are provided. 3 of them can be converted into multi-purpose activity rooms.(Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • 3 table tennis rooms which were converted from squash courts.
  • A table-tennis room covering an area of 101 M2 is provided. There are 3 table tennis tables for booking by the public.
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan


Opening Hours

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

9am to 3pm on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)

Remark

Dance Room, Fitness room, Activity Room No. 1 and 2 Fa Yuen Street Sports Centre (FYSSC) would be temporarily closed from 1 February 2023 to 20 March 2023 for replacement of air-conditioning system. During the above periods, other facilities in the FYSSC will remain open as usual. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
