Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre

Introduction

Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre, which was commissioned on 15 March 2001, is located at 9 Wan Lung Road, Tseung Kwan O. Well-equipped with air-conditioning system, it provides a wide range of leisure facilities for hiring by individuals and organisations. Moreover, various sports and recreation programmes are held in the Sports Centre each month for public participation.

Facilities

  • 1 muti-purpose arena which can be converted into 8 badminton courts, 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts or 1 handball court.
  • 3 squash courts (one is designated for use as a squash court; another is designated for use as a table-tennis room; and the other one can be converted into a table-tennis room or a small activity room (Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)).
  • 1 fitness room of 117 M2.
  • 2 multi-purpose activity rooms of about 53M2 and 106M2 respectively where activities such as table-tennis games and dancing can be held(Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars, gymnastic mats and sound equipment.).
  • Men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets.
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan, Assistive Listening System.
  • 1 fee-charging car park accommodating 12 private cars, 7 coaches and 3 motor-cycles (including 1 accessible parking space).

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

7am to 1pm on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)
