Po Wing Road Sports Centre

Introduction

Po Wing Road Sports Centre is located at 19 Pak Wo Road, Sheung Shui, New Territories. It is nearby Sheung Shui Government Secondary School. The sports centre aims at providing diversify sports and recreation facilities for booking of individual hirers and organizations during the venue opening hours. Besides, the centre also organizes various recreation and sports activities for members of the public.

Facilities

  • 1 multi-purpose arena which can be converted into 2 basketball courts / volleyball courts or 8 badminton courts
  • 1 fitness room of 362 M2
  • 2 Multi-purpose Activity Rooms (Large) of 183 M2 and 131 M2 respectively (Ancillary facilities: wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
  • 1 children’s play room(The children's play room is mainly designed for the use by children aged from 4 to 9 whose heights are not exceeding 142cm. Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians inside the play room)
  • 1 table-tennis room with 5 table tennis tables
  • 1 American pool room with 2 American pool tables
  • 1 indoor jogging track with 2 lanes
  • 1 outdoor sports climbing wall with a total of 3 lanes for users with qualifications recognized by the relevant NSA
  • Spectator Stands with capacity of 1200 persons
  • First-aid room
  • Men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets
  • Baby Care Room
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

7am to 1pm on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month (If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)
